Wow, Look at You Go!

Dec 30, 2025

GREAT NEWS!!! You’re a work in progress.
You might be among the few who seek feedback from others or, more important, from the results you’re getting in your life.

If you’re willing to take accountability for what you learn, look at your current circumstances as feedback! You learn a lot when you let go of blame and simply acknowledge one simple thing:
You are creating the results you’re getting

Okay, yes, sometimes bad stuff is imposed on us. Some chapters of our lives are simply rough. The good news is that you have come through 100% of your worst days!

So, two questions:

  1. How are you managing the bad stuff?
  2. And more important, are you okay with today being a new day?

Look at current circumstances and keep the vision of what you want to create in front of you. Stay in the mindstate of expectation. All too often, when we don’t get what we want, we look outside of ourselves. We look for someone or something to blame.

We assess ourselves against others’ wins (or losses). We judge ourselves. We judge others. Yes, we humans are quirky. We’re so quick to judge. It’s natural. It was a competitive advantage early on. And now, when we use comparison as an agent of suffering, we strive to keep up, and we infer that we’re not doing enough. Extrapolating that, we end up believing that we’re not enough.

You feel the imposter syndrome because you’re a high performer. People without big goals don’t feel that. There’s more to say here. For now, just focus on how far you’ve come, what your experience has taught you, and what your next step(s) will be.

As we close out this year, look back at ALL of the amazing things you’ve accomplished, both big and small. You accomplished quite a bit, and I know that because you’re here, now, reading this.

If you had a goal list from last year, review it.
If you don’t have one for the coming year, consider making one. I’m fond of asking:

            What Would You Truly Treasure?
What would you give time and energy to in order to
have that, do that, or become that this year?

Personally, I’ll be studying French and Finance. Having those skills won’t be a measure of success as much as who I become in doing so will be. I have other goals for myself that are relational, financial, vocational, and recreational. Health-wise, I’ve shed about 60lbs from this point last year. I’ve got some pretty big goals beyond what I’m sharing here. Stay tuned.

Here's my big pic in Times Square, New York City!
So, this is kind of cool, right?
Set your desires and ask yourself what you would truly treasure.
I’m willing to trade my time and life energy to uplevel for my own Next Big Next this coming year. How about you?

Look at where you’ve been.
Look at where you want to go – get clear, get specific, and get a sense about who you’ll impact. That last piece, it’s a big driver!

Look at where you’ve been. Celebrate that.
Get clear about what you’ll treasure. Focus. Write it down.
Take your best next step for your own Next Big Next.

Keep making your magic and rock this coming year!!!
