Whew! This time of year, there’s such a mix of feelings. There’s a sense of things that need to be cleaned up – the stuff you thought you’d have handled by the end of last month. And it’s mixed with a lightness about what’s ahead. While it’s crisp, you can almost smell the new season coming.

And yet… 

Something hovers. 

We all have times that doubt about the future creeps in. “What if…” And then, as I’ve talked about before, we misuse our imagination to go down a path of worry and fear. 

When a room is dark, and you turn on the light, where does the darkness go?

The cool thing is that ANY source of light pierces the darkness. I’ll tell people that I only need them to believe in their positive outcome 51% and if they’re shy of that, they can borrow my belief in them until they get to that tipping point. 

Just one percentage point over the halfway mark, and you’ve pieced the darkness. 
What if things got just that bit better?

And if you’re not in a dark place? A VIP Client and I just had this conversation: What if your success was so much greater than you’ve been imagining as possible? What would you imagine now?

To get through, you just have to believe it’s possible to get through.
To have Exponential Success, you just need to imagine what you thought of as success as the new baseline from which you’re springing.

Talk about bringing light into the dark. Poof! Suddenly so much MORE is possible.

ACTION STEPS: Do some writing about what success looks like. Jot some notes or do some full-on journaling. 

• Here’s what I was thinking success would look like for me.
• Now, I’m going to consider that a baseline – here’s what success at 10X the baseline looks like for me. 
• This is how I feel when I attain it.

When you get vividly specific, you find that the darkness disappears as possibility yields to opportunity. And with every step you take forward, a new reality unfolds for yourself.
