Handed My A**

Episode #149

It wasn’t unkind. It wasn’t malicious. It was a simple statement - “You’re not doing these things you said were important to you because you just don’t want to do them.”

What?

You’re not doing the things on your to-do list because you don’t want to do them. It’s that simple.

It could be that your subconscious sees a change as a threat to your identity. Well, in order to grow, you get to shed a bit of who you’ve been.

It could be that the process of doing the thing is just hard.

Well, it might be. You might have to learn to like things that are hard.

Great leaders have coaches that’ll tell them hard things.

We have trusted advisors who can call out our blind spots. And “blind spots” are called that because we can’t see them (even if they seem obvious to others).

Think about what you’ve had on your to-do list and what has and hasn’t gotten done.

What you’ve done, you did to get accolades or approval from someone else or you’ve done them to make a difference to yourself.

And the things you haven’t done, you have put off because you’re afraid of being judged as being bad at something. Or, it’s hard. Or it’s so new you don’t know where to start. So you haven’t done them because you didn’t want to… didn’t want to feel bad about doing them wrong, perhaps?

Find some help to take the first step.

Do step into the desires that are calling you.

And do follow through with being honest with yourself.
