So many people I talk with feel like they can’t get or have what they want. They’re afraid of being seen as egotistical. 

This is your permission to go and do or get the life you want. Believing in yourself and giving yourself what you want isn’t about you being better than someone else or feeling guilty about having something that other people don’t have. 

Ego centrism isn’t the same as being egotistical.

The truth is that when you follow the path that you truly desire, you become more of yourself. And by you being whole, you feed the world in a new, more expansive, way. The people around you need you to be more you. When you grow into yourself more fully, you shine in a way that lifts others. 

Your personal power and your powerful presence depend on you becoming more of who you are. “How can I become more me?” It’s a conundrum and only you know what you’ve been putting off stepping into. 

Allow yourself to explore something simply because you want to. Only by exploring will you find out if it’s “right” for you. Anything new feels awkward at first. And yet, it’s likely that your personal purpose has been waiting for you to uncover it. 

People ask me about how to find their life’s purpose. You don’t “find” it and you don’t wait for it to land on you. Michaelangelo was known for saying that he didn’t create his beautiful statues, he chiseled the marble to reveal the art.

Let go of what no longer belongs to you. Let go of the things you did because you thought you were supposed to. Step into the experiences that are calling to you. That’s how you find more YOU and that’s how you reveal your Purpose. 

Egocentrism is simply about focusing on yourself. Not believing you’re better than someone else. You’re allowed. It’s where your own magic lies. And it’s where your Next Big Next is waiting. We’re all waiting for you to show up just that bit more.
